	You’ve probably heard that everyone’s iris is unique. In the future it will be scanned into the computer and used for safety checks, to generate codes for digital access or to identify a person when crossing borders. The same is true for the eye’s transparent part that is cornea, on which all the laser procedures are done. Corneas can be alike, but they are unique on all of us.
Years long development of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG produced subsequent news of CRS Masters refractive surgery platform in 2007. CRS Masters test is now part of our eye clinic’s standard medical examination. With this test we can scan every human eye’s unique "optical fingerprint" into CRS Masters. Thereafter the doctor can perform a virtual operation in the computer and plan the best possible laser firing for that specific eye. The Matrix-LASIK procedure’s planning process is decided few days before. On the day of the operation a nomogram in the MEL80 laser device prepared by CRS Master is already waiting for the patient. So the laser procedure can be executed in a safe, precise and swift manner.
Despite the fact that the Carl Zeiss patented ASA (aberration smart ablation) nomogram is exceptionally precise and research carried out by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated that 4 out of 6 people saw better after the procedure than with the best glasses prior the operation, many people wish to get even more improved results.
When using CRS Masters alongside the laser, then: patients have a higher probability gaining 100% vision after the procedure in a short period of time, patients recover faster from the operation, the result is an improved vision of contrast and colors, the effect of the operation is an improved vision in the dark and dimmed lighting.
